Yip-Wah Chung is a professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University. Current research studies include hard coatings, high-performance steels, and advanced lubricants for improved vehicle efficiency. He was named Fellow by ASM International, AVS, and by STLE. His favorite hobbies are photography and recreational flying.
Andreas Roelofs works at Argonne National Laboratory as the Interim Division Director and Industrial Liaison of the Nanoscience and Technology Division (NST) as well as the Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM), a Department of Energy national user facility. He holds an advanced degree in physics (Dipl.-Phys) from the University of Cologne and received his doctoral degree (Dr.rer.nat.) in physics from the RWTH Aachen in Germany.
Emily Walzer is the editor and associate publisher of Textile Insight. She
covers fabric trends and new fiber technologies that lead to product
development. Previously, Walzer was the fabrics editor at Sporting Goods
Business. She has also worked full-time as a freelance writer, covering
textiles and apparel for the active sportswear market.
